Concrete Recycling

Continental began a concrete recycling program in 2018 to cut down on waste at job sites. Our concrete is collected from our projects and waste from concrete manufacturers to lessen the presence of usable aggregate in landfills. Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) is produced by Continental using crushing equipment to obtain the necessary size for the design. Once created, Continental uses this RCA to cut costs and provide safe and sustainably sourced aggregate for our projects. Recycled concrete can be used in a LEED Green Building project or awarded credits by Construction Waste Management.

Continental Concrete has recently recycled more than 150,000 tons of waste concrete.
